The return of ITB
Running 1 Comment »I have been forced to lay low on the running these past few days. My ITB is back and sore as hell. To double that I pulled a muscle in my shoulder blade/ neck in my weights session on Friday so that has kept me out of the gym too.
I have been hitting the Spin classes which I really enjoy, but I am not sure if that has effected my ITB. Can’t see how, but as it is a friction injury it may be impacting. Anyway, the result is I missed the Wally Cairns 15km race, and now need to recuperate and then start training for the Fremantle Half. Will rest until Saturday then start off slowly again.
I’m off to Bali in September then Greece for a conference. Looking for a run in Greece is great fun!!
